1980
Where It All Began
In 1980, our family opened a modest kitchen in Vientiane, cooking laab and grilled dishes from recipes passed down through generations — neighbours came for the food and stayed for the warmth.
1995
Siblings Joined the Team
The siblings stepped into staff roles to strengthen daily operations, develop standardized systems, and prepare the restaurant for future hiring.
2017
Word of Mouth Reached Beyond Borders
Long before social media, travellers discovered Pa Kham Tanh through local recommendations, carrying stories of our authentic Lao flavours back to their own countries.
2025
Entering the Online World
Pa Kham Tanh launched its online presence, making it easier for more customers to discover the restaurant and marking the beginning of a new chapter of growth.
